Remo’s Vintage A heads

As soon as I saw the add for these heads in Modern Drummer magazine I was sold! Remo’s Vintage A is constructed of 2 ply 7.5- and 3-mil polyester film.  This is the original construction from 1957 and was the first successful alternative to calfskin. And they sound AMAZING!!   Seriously, they just have this great dry sound and I love them on my snare drums, very good snare response.  I have yet to try them on my toms but I’m pretty excited to do so very soon.

Anyone else tried these heads out?
